2023 Fall Newsletter has been posted here. Invoices will be mailed out to each house by December 15th.
The vote to approve the new Covenants/Bylaws has made quorum, the vote has passed with more than 95% approval. The new documents will need to be signed by the board and filed with the county, so the effective date will be by 1/1/2021.
There has been a lot of excitement about sheds, but please read the regulations/restrictions as written and remember that shed requests must be APPROVED by the board prior to beginning work or delivery. We want to be sure these enhance the value of homes in the neighborhood. All sheds must also follow any city ordinances that apply to sheds. One last thank you to all who helped gather the votes needed to make quorum, especially Quinn Gregg's drive-thru voting booth. As a preview, we will likely be looking at a dues increase vote late next spring and will go through a similar process. If you'd like to have input on the amount of the increase, it will be discussed at the monthly meetings over the next 2-3 months, so we encourage everyone to attend a monthly meeting to understand the need for the increase and voice your input. So at the annual meeting last night, we unfortunately did not yet have enough votes for quorum on the covenants/bylaws changes. There was an approved motion to extend voting for two more weeks to get us the rest of the way there so any vote by 11/22 will count for the covenants/bylaws changes. Please reach out to the board for a chance to get your vote in. Copies of the changes are on the website and the dues increase will be waiting until next year.
